Shipping policy

Every Dlala Rugs piece is a unique handmade rug shipped from Morocco. This policy summarises how we prepare and deliver your order. More details are available on our Shipping & Delivery page.

Order preparation

Each rug is individually inspected, cleaned where needed and securely packed. Orders are generally prepared within 1 business day. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Delivery times

Rugs are shipped from Morocco with an international express courier with tracking. Estimated transit time is 5 to 7 business days after dispatch for the United States, Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia. For other destinations, please contact us before ordering. Delivery estimates are a guide and may be affected by customs clearance, weather, local holidays or other circumstances outside our control. A signature may be required on delivery.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs, where applicable, are calculated from the weight of the rug and your delivery address and are shown at checkout before payment. Some rugs ship free of charge.

Customs, duties and taxes

Prices do not include import duties, taxes or customs fees. Orders are shipped Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU): any customs duties, import VAT/GST or clearance fees charged by the destination country are paid by the recipient, usually to the courier before or at delivery. Parcels refused or left unclaimed because of unpaid duties may be returned to us; in that case the original shipping costs and the return costs are deducted from any refund.

Delivery address

Please check your shipping address carefully before completing your purchase and contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error. Once a shipment has been dispatched, we cannot guarantee that the address can be changed.

Damaged parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, photograph the outer packaging and the rug, keep all packaging, and contact us within 48 hours of delivery through our contact page with your order number and photos.
