Heritage Rugs

Heritage Rugs brings together pieces rooted in Morocco’s historic weaving traditions — rugs that carry the visual language of a region, a community and a particular moment in time.

From Taznakht and Glaoui to Zayane, Boujad, Azilal and other weaving territories, each rug reflects techniques, colors and patterns passed down through generations. Many of these pieces were created long before trends, standardized collections or professional design briefs began shaping the market.

Their irregularities, faded colors and unexpected details are not imperfections. They are traces of use, time and the hand of the woman who wove them.

At Dlala Rugs, we select Heritage Rugs for their authenticity, character and cultural significance. Each piece is one of a kind — a fragment of Morocco’s woven memory preserved for a new home.

Because no two Heritage Rugs are alike, sourcing them is a patient process. Each piece is found, hand-inspected and photographed individually long before it appears on this page — so the rug you choose is the exact rug that arrives at your door, with its own wear, its own fading, its own history intact.
